Welcome to West Seattle Little League

West Seattle Little League will be opening registration on January 1st for our 2019 baseball season.

Why should you sign up to play with West Seattle Little League?

  • West Seattle Little League (WSLL) is a popular volunteer-run community little league for your youth ages 4-12 – and we are looking to expand to older age groups.
  • We are an official member of Little League international.
  • We focus on sportsmanship, team building, fun and leadership as much as we focus on baseball skills.
  • We have a great community of families.
  • Bar-S – our home field - is a fun, comfortable, safe place to play ball.
  • We have the Snack Shack that provides an easy way to kids and adults to skip the meals at home during the busy season.  For older kids, we have a program for them to volunteer, learn customer service skills, money transactions and management; it’s a great experience and personal development.
  • We have indoor plumbing!!!
  • It’s a great place for the whole family.  There is always a pickup game of whiffle ball during games.  It is next to Alki Beach.  We have picnics and other events to engage our community before / after the season.
  • Our teams can compete!  Our 2018 12’s won District 7 Championship, Washington State Championship & competed in the Little League World Series Regionals. Our 2018 11’s won the District 7 Championship & competed at the State Tournament.

Did you notice our new batting cage at Bar-S?

Richie Wallace,  former ball player at WSLL improved our batting cage last week for his Boy Scouts Eagle Project!   The new cage not only looks great,  but is now usable year around with a proper pitching mound and new sport turf that took care of previous drainage issues.

Thank you Richie Wallace and Troop 274 of the BSA Mount Tahoma District.

Bat Rules

Reminder that Little League International updated thier bat regulations for the 2018 season.

As of January 1, 2018, there were new USA Baseball Bat standards. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018.
